The
purpose of the Columbia Gorge MGA Club is to encourage the preservation,
ownership, operation and enjoyment of any of the MG models, to provide events and
exhibits of MG automobiles and their owners, and to encourage careful and
skillful driving on public roadways. In the interest of giving the
membership the type of driving and social events they enjoy most, we
welcome your comments.
The Columbia Gorge MGA Club meets on the second Friday of each month (except December). In the summer months, we have a short tour as part of the meeting. In addition, there are one or more Club sponsored events each month that could be a tour, rally, or social gathering. Our calendar also lists other interesting automotive events in the area. See the Activities page for details. After the event, a recap of how it went and available pictures are placed on the Where We've Been page. The Columbia Gorge MGA Club has club insignia clothing for sale. See the Regalia page for pictures and ordering information. If you would like to have a name badge with either a pin- or magnet-back, you can order them on the Nametag page. The Columbia Gorge MGA Club hosted the NAMGAR Get Together 28 featuring the MGA Coupe in 2003. See the GT-28 page for a recap and photos of this highly successful event. See the http://www.namgar.com site for details of the next GT. Links of Interest Club T MG:

Our premier annual event is a classic Time Speed Distance (TSD) rally and tour in June. The Columbia Gorge Classic is open to both members and non-members, and is limited to 60 entries. Click the link above for information on the 2011 event just completed. The Columbia Gorge MGA Club publishes a beautiful 12-page monthly newsletter called the MGAnnouncer. It promotes the activities of the club and our advertisers, and contains articles from our members about automotive topics. It is a forum for wants and disposals, and introduces new members. Members can receive their newsletter by postal mail or electronically by e-mail. A few recent newsletters are shown in PDF format on the newsletter page. Calendar year dues are $25 per year ($12.50 after July 1st). The dues support a monthly newsletter and this website. Club events and activities are self-supporting. All MG enthusiasts are welcome to join and share information, advice, and fun. Print the membership form, fill it in, and mail it with your check to P.O. Box 66431, Portland, OR 97290-6463. Pictures of our members and their cars help us put faces to names and cars for all members, new and continuing. Contact the webmaster if you have a picture to post. 2011 Elected Officers President: Keith Ansell Important Volunteers ABFM Representatives: Bill Barnes, Jan Whittlesey |
